Discontinued Haltech Legacy Product Info

Bellow you will find explanations and files that will help you keep using you older legacy Haltech ECU’s with a modern laptop.

DosBox v0.72 - You will need DosBox for the older DOS Based ECU’s like E6K/S/A, E6GM, and F10, F9, F7, F3.

Haltech Halwin Software for E8/E11v2 ECU’s - Modified for modern 64bit Win8/10/11 Machines.

Haltech Halwin Software for E8/E11v2 ECU’s - Full package of the software with the 32bit Setup.exe Installer already in there. You will need the Build 35 Firmware files bellow as well. A firmware udpate SHOULD be performed to make sure the ECU is properly setup and working normally, especially if it has been sitting for a long time, or is showing some issue.

Build 35 Firmware Files - E8 & E11v2 - These are BIN files for each ECU. You MUST check the firmware in your ECU BEFORE trying to tune it, if your ECU’s firmware is NOT Build 35, if its a lower number, STOP! And immediately perform a firmware update. To check your ECU’s firmware go to Options/Firmware Version Info, and a window will show your ECU’s firmware.

Make sure to PLEASE DISCONNECT YOUR IGNITION COILS BEFORE you start performing the update!
